Q: Who should take the test?
Anyone who is interested in understanding themselves better should take our test. Understanding our basic motivations- what pushes us to make certain choices, what we like, and what we avoid, how we react- can be a key to making choices in life. Career and educational choices can seem overwhelming, so it helps to have good information about ourselves as we make plans. See below for additional uses.

Q: How should the profiles be used?
The personal motivational profile and related information that comes from the testing should be used as one tool in making a decision. No test is perfect, so choices should never be based on these profiles alone. Results obtained in MAP products can often be very helpful in clarifying what is desirable, and identifying certain choices that should be avoided, or might create stress.

Q: Can professionals use these products?
Our assessment products have been used frequently by therapists, personal coaches, personnel managers and vocational counselors, to name a few. Many corporations have used our profiles to match people to jobs, or for workshops, training, or team building.

Q: How old should you be to take the test?
Children as young as 12 years of age can get very meaningful results with these tools, as long as they clearly understand the questions. Parents often find the information helpful in understanding their child, and teachers have used our products to gain insight to the student, and plan successful approaches to learning. Naturally, interests and motivational patterns are more likely to change over time when children are involved, so caution should be used.
